At the invitation of Institución Futuro, Carlos Bergera, CEO of Zetrack, led a session on the energy transition for members of this Navarran think tank.
On January 26, our CEO, Carlos Bergera, was invited to speak at a working session organized by the Navarran think tank Institución Futuro. The event, held in the format of a luncheon discussion, took place at the Nuevo Casino Principal in Pamplona. It was attended by about twenty members of the institution, mostly executives or leaders of companies and organizations related to the agri-food sector in the Autonomous Community of Navarre.
In his remarks, Bergera outlined the global context of the energy transition, which aims to bring about a shift in the energy model to mitigate the impact of human activity on global warming.
He also discussed how many current trends in agriculture are driving the energy transition through increased robotization, process automation, and improved management of land and machinery.
It is in this field that Zetrack is developing its business model, addressing—as Bergera explained—challenges such as adapting to increasingly stringent regulations regarding the quality and sustainability of agricultural processes, the scarcity of and difficulty in securing a stable workforce, technological changes, and digitalization.
The event, which concluded with a lively discussion, is the second of its kind organized by Institución Futuro, following the previous one featuring Esteban Morrás, president of Das Nano – Veridas.
