The NC interview explores the concept of so-called Agriculture 4.0, its adaptation to a changing market, and the project’s promising outlook—among other reasons, as Bergera points out, because “the automation of agricultural tasks is an urgent necessity, as businesses are finding it increasingly difficult to recruit workers.”
For its part, Crónica Vasca explains how the agricultural sector—and, consequently, agricultural machinery—“is undergoing significant technological change due to the new landscape brought about by the environmental and energy crises.” In this regard, Bergera emphasizes that “agricultural machinery is evolving, and precision agriculture is now needed in the countryside—that is, specific agricultural processes tailored to the type of crop or the desired outcome.”
